I'm not going to watch you, but I gotta say, impressive work on your drawings. This is the first time I've really had to debate on either I want to watch a complete stranger who I haven't seen said a word too. Your drawing style realistic, and yet at the same time it's so damn colorful. Really, it's fucking amazing when the reason I don't watch a person is. "Do I want to see artwork that stares into my soul or not?"
If I ever come across your gallery gain, I'll be sure to watch you. But for now... I'd rather not have a piece of artwork stare into my Soul. Even if that's sorta the reason it's good.
Wow, thank you so much for that comment! I have never heard someone describe my artwork in that way, and I have to say: I am flattered. I really hope my artwork catches your eye in the future, and I will definitely start to submit my art more often. (I haven't submitted in over half a year until today.)
It's not a question of either it'll catch my eye or not, since every piece you've drawn has captivated me or not. The question is, will your artwork stare into my soul and make me shiver a bit, or not. I look forward to seeing more of your work, but by no means, don't change your style.
Getting ready for Jafax! Suggestions?posted Jan 28th 2010, 9:01PM

Hello, hello watchers~ How have you been lately? I have been alright, I was sick for a while with the flu but I am almost 100% now. Getting ready for Jafax already, because I know that if I don't start obscenely early, I won't have enough stuff to sell. I don't know if I will have enough to sell anyway. xD Here is a list of things I am offering:
1. Prints
2. Coloring Book (Printed and digital copies)
3. Handing out the first part of my comic, so it can get spread around a bit
4. Sculpey jewelry/charms/Cosplay jewelry
5. 1 1/4" Buttons
6. Bookmarks
7. Plushies
8. Hats
I am also going to have business cards available for people to take. :3
I want to have some more things to sell, but I am not sure what to make. Does anyone have any ideas? I am going to be going to some craft stores tomorrow to get some stuff.
Also, for the prints, do you think it should be all fanart or should I add some of my own character designs? I am not sure how well a character of my design would sell, because they aren't as recognizable as a fanart would be. But I also want to show my creative side. I am thinking of doing mostly fanart, but having some of my original work too. I might also make some generic drawings of people that aren't from a distinct anime, but reflect Japanese culture. (A lolita series, for instance)
I am also trying to think of how to display my prints, and I was thinking of having about a dozen of the best ones in a binder on the table for people to flip through, and have the rest under the table or something for people to look at if they want to. I am also looking for a rack of some sort to display things. And I might put stuff up on the wall~
I am also not sure what to price everything, and how many prints I should make. This is my very first con, so there is so much I don't know *0*
If I get a table with an outlet, I am thinking of bringing in these awesome neon blue lights and setting them up around the table, so that it grabs people's attention. I also want my computer there to work on school work and commissions, so I can play some music as well.
I am thinking of taking on the spot commissions, except that I hate drawing in front of people, and I hate being watched. It might be too stressful for me, because I will also have to do it pretty quick. I might practice this, and hopefully I will get to the point that I will be comfortable doing so. I might also bring my copics and color them! xD
Or just use my prisma color colored penicls, since I am more comfortable using those.
I would do digital commissions, but I would have no way to print them D:
I am also trying to think of what to do for my banner. I can't afford a printed vinyl one, because those cost damn near $100. D: I might end up making a paper one.
Well, thats all I can think of right now as far as that goes. The con isn't until June, so I still have a while, but I have a feeling I will still be rushing anyway. D:
